Full Members Rights

Vote or be voted in TANNA leadership elections
Participate in TANNA local, regional, national and international meetings
Attend unrestricted TANNA events and activities
Receive membership card

Be appointed to TANNA office positions

Cessation of Membership

A member shall cease to be a member on occurrence of:

Not paying or renewing membership fee
Informing Executive Secretary of intention to cease membership (no refund)
Expulsion by Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council
Death of a member

Suspension & Expulsion

Members not paying dues for one year shall be suspended by the TANNA Mloganzila Branch Executive Committee
Suspended members not reinstated within 6 months shall have membership terminated
Guilty of conduct unbecoming of nursing profession
Violation of TANNA's Constitution or Code of Conduct

Important: No disciplinary action shall be taken until member has been served with specific charges and given reasonable time to prepare a defence.
